The Costa Calida/Almeria region:
This privileged, historical area of Almeria enjoys virtually unbeatable climate throughout the year, estimated to be more than 3000 hours of sunshine a year, with extensive facilities like Golf, Diving, caving etc. close to hand. Almeria offers the fullest range of sun and beach leisure in the country, with long, well maintained and facilitated beaches.
The Costa Almeria is completly unspoilt. To the east of Almeria we find the rugged and desolate coast of the Cabo del Gato-Nijar natural park. This is an arid desert landscape and the annual rainfall here is less than 200mm. It is sparsely populated, few villages and a very low population density. Visitors feel a sense of exploration here as many of the coves can only be reached on foot. This area is particularly popular with nature lovers and back-packers. The most popular coastal village is San José.
West of Almeria is the highly developed tourist resorts of Roquetas de Mar and Aqua Dulce. These have all the facilities of any modern resort to support the package holiday market.
At the north of the Costa de Almeria are the beaches of Vera, a number of new complexes are being constructed here. A little further south is Mojacar which successfully combines the popular beach holiday with the hillside white village that tourist love to explore. Almeria city is worth a visit with the Alcazaba castle overlooking the metropolis.
To the west we find the developing complex of Almerimar with Marinas, golf, hotels and many other facilities.
Costa Almeria has the benefit of the lowest rainfall and the highest sunshine records for the whole of Spain. Together with the superb beaches, there are the attractions of the wild Natural Park of Cabo De Gata.
The historic town of Granada is within easy reach.
Vera Playa / Salinas de Vera area:
There is a new sport centre in Puerto Rey and different golf courses in the direct neighbourhood.
Local Beaches: Vera Playa, Puerto Rey, Garrucha, Mojacar, Carboneras and San Juan de los Terreros.
Towns: Vera old traditional Spanish town with magnificent Bull Ring. Garrucha, busy little fishing harbour with good local shops, fish restaurants and bars. Mojacar Pueblo, pictureque Moorish village on the hill. Mojacar Playa, lively Clubs, restaurants and bars.
There are different markets on every weekday in this area.

Payment procedure: for reservation 50 % in advance by bank transfer, other 50 % at day of arrival (not in high season).
