Zurgena

Zurgena's sister' town of La Alfoquia is reached by a bridge and is less than a kilometre away and there you will find a secondary school (there is a free school bus service from Zurgena) and a little taste of home an English fish and chip shop! Zurgena is a real Spanish community and the whole town comes together for a week long festival in August when the fairground comes to town and there are displays by performers from all over the world.
Getting to Zurgena couldn't be easier. It's only 6 kilometres from the main A92 motorway, giving you easy access to Almeria and Alicante airports. The nearest hospital is at Huercal-Overa, 13 kilometres away. The gorgeous Costa Almeria coast is just 30 minutes away with the popular resorts of Mojacar, Vera and Garrucha all within easy reach. There are three golf courses within a 20 minute car journey.
